Mobility in Health Care

New technologies now make it possible to obtain information in real time. right now, the applications that are having a substantial impact on the health care system are those related to mobility.

The scope of these projects ranges from creation of client applications in PDA or mobile devices, to the server portion (consolidation of data and access to the data for consolidation of data and access to the data for consultation by authenticated users), to providing the necessary training to the end users (physicals) nation-wide or hosting of the system server as necessary, always providing second and third tier support.

Mobile Applications for Emergencies

SATEC has developed different applications, including one for conducting an epidemiological study of allergies in which all of the data are entered by the physicians on PDAs and then sent to a central server where they are consolidated into a database and later analysed and exploited statistically.

Fleet Management for Ambulances 

An application developed by SATEC that manages the internventions of the ambulance services.

The ambulances are equipped with PDA type devices, with GPS for geopositioning and a GRPS communication system. The applications developed and implemented in each device allow the ambulance technician to accept or reject the interventions as they are sent. Additional information can also be downloaded if necessary on the incident reported, the status of the incident, etc. In addition, the system maintains coordinated information on the status of each one of the emergency vehicles. Finally, and thanks to the use of GPS and the integration of this information in a GIS, the system can provide information on the ambulance's position, sending data on the best possible route to the scene of the emergency.
